PROPOSAL FOR A PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION
The intent of the proposed set-up is to introduce visitors inside the Bruno Kessler Foundation, through an extensive documentation - in images - of the places that constitute its headquarters (laboratories, offices), the protagonists involved (researchers, students), and the tools used.
The project is a dialogue between space and images: it consists of two elements, a fabric, on which are printed several full-height photographs, and 24 medium and large-format photographs printed and framed, hanging on the outside wall.
The fabric, affixed to the ceiling, is the main element that outlines a central space, the real nucleus of the exhibition: entering inside it allows you to enter the core Foundation itself - the photographs printed on the fabric describe the types of equipment and the technology used in the laboratories.
The other 24 photographs, of medium and large format, are instead framed and hung on the walls of the room chosen for the exhibition. This second tranche of images describes the people and places that constitute the identity of FBK, through an extensive narrative that depicts the protagonists involved. The proposed layout reveals its own versatility by imagining that the exhibition could adapt to different spatial conformations.
